1. Why can’t my watch turn on?

A: This is most likely due to an extended period of delivery time which has caused the battery to run out totally. Please charge your watch and wait for it to turn on automatically.

2. Why can’t I charge the battery?

A: Please make sure that the battery charger is connected tightly and correctly. If the watches temperature goes too high, it will enter protection mode automatically and stop the charging. Remove the charger wait for a few hours and try again.

3. What’s the battery life?

The watch has an inbuilt 400mAH Li-ion polymer battery which offers non-stop power supply of approximately 48 hours (with the auto locating & uploading interval set at every 5 minutes). *Signal strength, Phone call, voice chat or other actions will have an impact on the battery life.

4. Why can’t I scan the QR code with my APP?

A: Please adjust the distance between your phone and the watch, or move to a location with sufficient lighting and try scanning again.

5. Why does my watch show incorrect date/time and weather information?

A: Your watch obtains date & time information from the mobile network operator and synchronizes the weather forecast from your local internet server. If the information is incorrect please make sure the watch is registered to a mobile network and connected to the internet via GPRS data (please refer to page 4).

6. Can anyone call my watch?

A: Only the phone numbers which are on the contact list (page 16) can call your watch and only the first phone number on the contact list can receive a call alert text. This is to ensure you won’t receive calls & messages from unwanted persons.

7. Can I call anyone I want from the watch?

A: You can call a maximum of 16 people from your contact list. You call someone from the list by selecting the person from the Menu-Contact. It is easy and safe because no one can see the contact’s phone number on the watch.

8. Can anyone text my watch?

A: Only 6 subscribers can send you text message via APP.

9. About the location accuracy

The KoKo watch uses a combination of GPS, WiFi and cellular to determine location. The location accuracy depending on available signal strength and surrounding conditions, If the watch is not within a clear line of sight to GPS satellites, it will using crowd-sourced Wi-Fi and cell tower locations to determine locations.
All GPS navigation relies on satellite signals received outdoors. The best GPS signal reception can be reached in an open area. Due to the nature of the GPS signal, some factors may influence the performance and accuracy of the GPS location, for example, tall buildings, hills, rain, fog and snow, etc.
Please note that the maps, directions, and locations on KoKo watch app depend on data services. These data services are subject to change and might not be available in all geographic areas, resulting in maps, directions, or location-based information that might be unavailable, inaccurate, or incomplete.
Please note that GPS/WiFi/LBS positioning technology gives a good indication of where the watch is, but should not be solely relied upon.
